Linda Rogers is lying on TV.

The Indiana state senator is running commercials right now, telling voters that Dr. Brian Schmutzler is in bed with “woke medical groups” that “promote abortion and childhood sex changes.” That is a lie.

Schmutzler is a board-certified anesthesiologist. At Unity Physicians Hospital, he is chief anesthesiologist and medical director of the operating room. He is also an adjunct clinical assistant professor at the Indiana University School of Medicine, where he trains medical students in anesthesia. He has publicly endorsed Senate Bill 236, the proposed Indiana law that would crack down on the mailing of abortion-inducing drugs into the state. He stood with Voices for Life last month at their Stand for Life fundraiser. When reflecting on the fundraiser, Dr. Brian wrote: “We are committed to ending abortion in Indiana. It’s not just convenient rhetoric, as a physician I walk the walk.”

So where is Senator Rogers’ proof? Nowhere. Her ad names no groups. No sources. No quotes. Nothing. Yet she is running TV ads to smear her opponent.

This is what happens when an incumbent panics.

President Trump endorsed Schmutzler on April 7. Rogers has been losing it ever since.

On her own Facebook page, she posted a Where’s Waldo styled cartoon called “Where’s Dr. Brian?”

She posted a comparison chart calling him “Aligned with woke medical groups supporting childhood sex changes.”

She shared a photograph of an empty chair with his name card on it.

She posted a photo of him in scrubs with a line lifted from his own social media: “Anesthesiologists every day, for no particular reason.”

This isn’t a super PAC. Not an outside group. This is from the senator herself. On her own page. With her own name on it.

State senators do not do this. They do not post cartoon graphics. They do not run false TV ads about pro-life doctors. And they do not run smear campaigns.

Linda Rogers is doing all of the above.

The incumbent is supposed to be the adult in the room.

Instead, the incumbent is posting Where’s Waldo graphics.
